Credentials

I am a retired educator and have been a Labor Arbitrator for the past 20 years.  I began my mediation career with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs mediating consumer complaints.  Later I was trained at the Center for Divorce Mediation in New York City and have been mediating divorces for the past nine years.

I did my undergraduate studies at Glassboro State College and received my Masters Degree from Paterson State.  I attended the Center for Divorce Mediation in New York City, and participated in an additional nine month practical training workshop on Divorce Mediation. 

I was certified by the Center for Family and Divorce Mediation.  I was also trained by the American Arbitration Association as a certified arbitrator and mediator.  I am a panel member of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services; (FMCS)  Federal Mediation Service; (FMS) the New Jersey Board of Mediation; (NJBM) the New York State Employment Relations Board; (NYSERB), the American Arbitration Association; (AAA), the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission; (PERC) the New Jersey Council On Divorce Mediation; I am also a panel member of the Pennsylvania Public Employee Relations Commission. I Mediate Civil and Matrimonial cases for Bergen, Hudson and Passaic County Superior Courts.

For eight years I served as a facilitator in a Divorce and Separated program run by the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey and  I ran a Divorce and Separated program at Sacred Heart Church in Haworth in 2007 and now run a similar program at Mt. Carmel Church in Ridgewood.
